Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomislav Vukovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vukovic comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rammstein - Feuer Frei! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tomislav Vukovic!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Torres looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Torres lands a head kick!

It looks like Tomislav Vukovic has been cut.
Torres fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vukovic is out of range.

Vukovic closes the distance and pushes Torres back into the cage.
Torres has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vukovic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Torres gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Vukovic regains guard.
Torres throws a big elbow that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torres pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vukovic is keeping the position for now.
Torres makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Vukovic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Torres wants to pass the guard but Vukovic is keeping the position.
Torres throws an elbow that misses. Vukovic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Torres's guard. Nice move by Vukovic!

Torres has his foot on Vukovic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vukovic works his way back into a safe position though.
Torres bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vukovic's guard.
Torres is pushing down on Vukovic's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vukovic is fighting to maintain full guard but Torres has managed to sneak the leg through.
Vukovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Torres has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Torres has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Torres sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Torres punching from mount but Vukovic doing a good job of avoiding damage.
BOOM! Torres connects with a massive shot to the dome!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Torres controlling the pace for now.
Vukovic wants to try and get back to his feet.

Torres thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Torres there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That has opened up Tomislav Vukovic's cut even more.

Torres working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Tomislav Vukovic's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tomislav Vukovic's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Duke Torres!
Duke Torres spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
