The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atomic throws a series of punches but Diggs avoids them all with ease.
Diggs tries for a takedown but Atomic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Diggs misses with a takedown
and Atomic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Atomic with a jab.

It looks like Genghis Diggs has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Atomic lands a jab to the nose.
Diggs closes the distance looking to clinch
and Atomic counters with a right hand to the body.
Diggs fails with the takedown.
Tom Atomic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Genghis Diggs.
Atomic lands with a nice body punch.
Diggs looks gassed!

Diggs gets tackled into the cage by Atomic. Atomic maintains the clinch.
Diggs is trying to pull guard but Atomic turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Atomic for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Diggs has had enough of the clinch but Atomic keeps him there for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Atomic lands a left hand that snaps the head of Diggs backwards.
Atomic prevents the takedown attempt.
Atomic pressing his opponent against the cage.

Diggs breaks from the clinch.
Atomic connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diggs's hands.
Atomic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Atomic lands with a shot to the body.

Atomic moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Diggs goes down! Can Atomic finish him!?

That has opened up Genghis Diggs's cut even more.
Diggs can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Atomic controls the pace.
Diggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Atomic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Atomic keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diggs's head.

Diggs is rocked!

The cut above Genghis Diggs's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Atomic stands up over Diggs, holding on to his feet. Atomic throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Diggs is out cold! Atomic lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
