Ferguson throws a left that rocks Atomic and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ferguson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Atomic regain composure!

Ferguson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Ferguson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Atomic sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ferguson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atomic tries to avoid it but Ferguson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atomic to the ground. Atomic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Atomic lands with an uppercut that bounces Ferguson off the ropes and back into range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
