PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarkko Rautavaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tane Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rautavaara comes to the cage accompanied by The Stranglers - No More Heroes. Thompson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by it was over. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Thompson. Rautavaara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rautavaara thows a body shot but no joy.
Rautavaara misses with a hook.
Thompson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thompson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Thompson throws a sloppy body shot
and Rautavaara counters with a low kick, right behind Thompson 's knee.
Rautavaara tries to bum rush Thompson with a series of wild strikes but Thompson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rautavaara tries to clinch but Thompson is having none of it.
Thompson lands with a kick to the temple. Rautavaara shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Thompson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rautavaara has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Thompson finds it's way round the side to connect with Rautavaara's head.
Rautavaara moves away from the strike by Thompson.

Rautavaara moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thompson avoiding damage as Rautavaara throws knees to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Thompson.
Thompson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rautavaara is defending well for now.
Thompson blocks the elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Thompson throws an elbow but misses.

Thompson lands a hook to the side of the head.

Rautavaara is rocked!
Thompson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rautavaaras head.
Oh Rautavaara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thompson pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Rautavaara! Thompson unloads with more strikes and Rautavaara sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
