Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Sonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ma Yeth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sonny throws a nice looking combination but Yeth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Sonny on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Yeth tries to sprawl but Sonny drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Yeth tries to roll over but Sonny keeps him under control.
Yeth wants to control but Sonny is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Yeth flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Yeth makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Yeth.
Sonny knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yeth on the ground.
Yeth wants to stand up but Sonny is controlling him.
Sonny lands a couple of elbows.
Sonny stands up over Yeth, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Yeth lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sonny!
Sonny wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Sonny on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sonny tries to get out of the position.

Yeth is looking to work his way around to Sonny's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Yeth takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Yeth sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

A decent looking body kick lands there for Yeth.
Yeth keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sonny.
Yeth lands a glancing blow to the side of Sonny's head.
Sonny throws a looping overhand right but Yeth ducks down to avoid it.
Sonny clobbers Yeth with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Yeth scores with a nice body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sonny gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yeth.

It looks like Jim Sonny has been cut.
Yeth scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Sonny is breathing heavily.
Nice body kick there by Yeth.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yeth thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sonny if he has to take too many more of those.

Yeth lands a big head kick that sends Sonny tumbling to the mat! Yeth takes a step backwards and waves Sonny back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sonny is rocked!
Crack! A monster head kick from Yeth and Sonny falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Yeth!
