Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis DeYoung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juice Stain!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeYoung closes the distance and pushes Stain back into the cage.
DeYoung changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stain fights it off and pushes away nicely.
DeYoung dodges the punch combination from Stain.
Stain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Stain looks to land a right hand but DeYoung moved out of range.
DeYoung fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Stain misses with a double jab.
Stain looks to land a combination but DeYoung avoids it well.
Stain throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

DeYoung fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stain sprawls well initially but DeYoung persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stain wants to get back to his feet.

DeYoung is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
DeYoung controlling the action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DeYoung seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stain for as long as he can get away with.
Stain keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stain moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Stain is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and DeYoung dives into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by DeYoung.
Stain is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, DeYoung asserts his dominance and retains side control.

DeYoung has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Stain is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. DeYoung yanks on the arm and Stain is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by DeYoung.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dennis DeYoung!
Dennis DeYoung decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
