Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Commander Panda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Spanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panda comes into the arena with Welcome to the Jungle blaring out of the sound system. Spanner has chosen Seven Drunken Nights - The Dubliners as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panda throws a series of punches but Spanner moves out of range.
No joy there for Panda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Panda tries to bum rush Spanner with a series of wild strikes but Spanner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spanner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Panda tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spanner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Spanner does no damage.

Spanner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spanner lands in his opponent's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Oh Panda is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Panda misses with a double jab

and Spanner counters by moving into the clinch.
Panda seems to have got his legs back now.
Spanner digs a right hand underneath Panda's ribcage. Panda let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Panda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spanner walks away with a smile on his face. Panda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Panda throws a series of punches but Spanner moves out of range.

Panda gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Spanner scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Spanner loads up on a big left hand. Panda felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Spanner looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Panda can't hide his disappointment, as Spanner celebrates the victory.

After the fight, Mick Spanner was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
