The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fischer slips a jab from Bannon.
Bannon slips a jab and a cross from Fischer.
Bannon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fischer's hands.
Bannon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fischer.
Bannon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fischer.

It looks like Roland Fischer has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fischer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Bannon throws a nice looking combination but Fischer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fischer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Shannon Bannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bannon lands with an uppercut that bounces Fischer off the ropes and back into range.
Fischer blocks a low kick nicely.
Bannon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fischer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Bannon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fischer moves away.
Bannon lands a big uppercut and Fischer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fischer looks OK. Bannon waves Fischer back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fischer thows a body kick. Bannon tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bannon is looking to score with low kicks.
Bannon misses with a hook.
Fischer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bannon just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fischer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Bannon lands with a nice body punch.
Bannon scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bannon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fischer sprawling to the canvas! Fischer rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bannon finish him?!
Fischer is rocked!

Bannon looks to score with a jab to the body but Fischer is just out of range.

Bannon drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Fischer's head, knocking him out cold! Bannon is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shannon Bannon!
