The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igor fails with an attempt to clinch.
Van Damme misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Igor closes the distance and clinches.

Van Damme breaks from the clinch.
Van Damme misses with the combination.
Igor moves in looking to clinch but Van Damme pushes him off.
Van Damme scores with a jab to the jaw.
Van Damme lands with an uppercut that bounces Igor off the cage and back into range.
Van Damme circles away from the clinch attempt.
Igor takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Igor forces Van Damme back against the cage and clinches.
A right hook to the body lands for Van Damme.

Van Damme's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Van Damme cracks Igor with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Igor looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Van Damme finish him?
Igor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Igor doesn't manage to clinch there - Van Damme circles away.
Van Damme looks to land a combination but Igor avoids it well.

and Van Damme counters with a crisp right hand that drops Igor! Van Damme lets Igor back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Igor is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Damme cracks Igor's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Igor slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Van Damme can do further damage! This one is done, son!
