Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Brandon Higgins !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Justin Jangla!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higgins misses with a straight right.
Higgins avoids the body shot from Jangla.
Jangla throws a jab when Higgins was well out of range.
Higgins throws an off balance right hand
and Jangla counters with a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Higgins throws a hook to the side of Jangla's head but Jangla sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Higgins defending well as Jangla loads up on a big left hand.

Higgins misses with a looping left.
A big right from Jangla misses.
Higgins slips a straight right by Jangla.
Jangla swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Higgins misses the shot to the body.
Jangla throws an overhand right that lands on Higgins 's shoulder, as Higgins tries to avoid the shot.
Higgins throws a big shot that misses.

Higgins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jangla.
Jangla displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Higgins throws out the jab.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Higgins slips a straight right by Jangla.
Jangla throws a hook but Higgins blocks it.
Jangla displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Higgins throws out the jab.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jangla pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Jangla dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jangla takes a swing at Higgins 's ribcage but misses.
Higgins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jangla.
Jangla shoots in looking for a takedown. Higgins tries to sprawl out of it but Jangla keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Higgins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jangla.

Higgins throws an overhand right that lands on Jangla's shoulder, as Jangla tries to avoid the shot.
Jangla lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jangla tries to score a power double leg takedown but Higgins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jangla somewhat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Higgins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jangla throws out the jab.
Jangla swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Higgins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jangla.
Jangla defending well as Higgins loads up on a big left hand.
Higgins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jangla.
Jangla slips a straight right by Higgins .

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Higgins slips under a jab from Jangla.
Jangla throws a hook to the side of Higgins 's head but Higgins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jangla throws a lazy right hand but Higgins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Higgins throws a looping overhand right but Jangla ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Jangla showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Higgins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jangla loads up on a big right hand but Higgins slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Higgins misses with an uppercut.
Higgins ducks under a wild hook from Jangla.

Jangla uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Higgins .

Higgins scores a takedown into full mount!
Jangla is desperately trying to improve his position but Higgins has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jangla tries to hold on but Higgins pushes him away.
Jangla is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Higgins lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jangla hang on?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jangla is trying to stand up.
Jangla keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jangla wants to control but Higgins is having none of it.
Higgins landing punches.
Higgins putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Jangla tries to hold on but Higgins pushes him away.
Jangla is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Higgins lands a big shot there that rocks Jangla but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jangla can't escape the position.
Higgins trying to control but Jangla is having none of it.
Higgins cracks Jangla with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brandon Higgins !
