Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Young Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sack Hitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The key to victory for Young Gun has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitch shoots in for a double leg but Gun sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hitch with a lazy takedown attempt
and Gun counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gun feints and then cracks Hitch's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hitch down.
Hitch on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gun dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hitch. That did some damage!
Hitch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Young Gun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sack Hitch.
Hitch drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gun throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hitch looks gassed!
Gun connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gun's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hitch under the eye.

Gun pushes Hitch up against the cage in a clinch.
Gun lands a right hand that snaps the head of Hitch backwards.
A right handed body shot lands from Gun.
Gun is pushing Hitch up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Young Gun.
Gun lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gun.
Young Gun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gun lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gun.

Gun connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Gun feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hitch's calf.
Gun and Hitch are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Gun throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Hitch into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Gun knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
