The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labbe misses with a series of wild punches.
Labbe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Labbe avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Labbe misses.
Plasilov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Fjodor Plasilov has been cut.
Labbe misses with a combination

and Plasilov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Labbe can do anything to dispel that myth.
Labbe looks gassed!
Plasilov is nestled in close to Labbe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Plasilov is looking to advance position but Labbe won't allow it.

Plasilov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Plasilov prevents Labbe from standing back up.
Plasilov wants to pass the guard but Labbe is defending well.
Labbe on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Plasilov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Labbe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Plasilov stops Labbe from getting back to his feet.
Labbe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Plasilov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Plasilov is trying for a kimura here. Labbe looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Plasilov wins by kimura!
