Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eza Nahka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen Scatman - John Scatman as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Eza Nahka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Black!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nahka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Black tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Nahka counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Nahka has gone for a leg lock! Black slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nahka's guard.

Nahka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Black must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Nahka is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nahka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Black can do anything to dispel that myth.
Nahka postures up in Black's guard and throws a big left but Black blocks it.

Nahka moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Black has worked his arm free - good work by Black!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nahka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Black was covering up waiting for the punch and Nahka finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Eza Nahka overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Black is staying active underneath Nahka, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eza Nahka will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nahka, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
