Jones is looking to clinch.
Jones tries to clinch but Lavin moves away
letting Lavin counter with a right hand.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Lavin circles away.
Roy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lavin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones.
Lavin misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Jones closes the distance looking to clinch

and Lavin counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard.

Lavin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard.

Lavin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lavin looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jones is defending well. Lavin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jones has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lavin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
