Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Le Grand Antonio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Vlad the Impaler. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antonio keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Silva connects with a leg kick. Antonio looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Decent striking displayed by Silva there.
Antonio is looking to score with low kicks.
Silva throws a front kick aimed at Antonio's knee but Antonio avoids it well.
A nice inside leg kick there by Silva. That's going to slow Antonio down.
A chopping leg kick lands by Silva.
Silva misses with a low kick.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Antonio swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Antonio was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.

Antonio shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Antonio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Antonio throws a front kick that sends Silva stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva connects with a solid leg kick.
Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Antonio's sensitive parts.

Antonio shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thor Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Antonio gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Antonio thumps Silva with a low kick.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Antonio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Antonio gets slowly back to his feet.
Thor Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Le Grand Antonio.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.
Silva throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva has closed the distance and engaged Antonio in a clinch.
Silva throws a knee to the head but misses.
Antonio's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Antonio blocks with his arms.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Silva obliges.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Antonio jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Antonio gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Antonio.
Silva throws out a leg kick but Antonio moves out of range and Silva only half commits.
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Antonio has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Antonio thows a body shot but no joy.
Antonio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Antonio is controlling him.
Antonio postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Antonio works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Silva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Silva tries to get out of the position.

Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Antonio on the ground.
Silva is looking to control Antonio's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted?
Antonio is trying for a kimura here. Silva looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Antonio wins by kimura!
