The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson throws a right and a left that both miss.

Henderson is staying active underneath Kennedy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kennedy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Henderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kennedy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kennedy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henderson keeps working.

Kennedy uses his free foot to push down on Henderson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Henderson.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kennedy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
