Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Smith coming out on top.
Pur uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith throws a leg kick which misses Pur 's front leg but catches the back leg as Pur tries to avoid it.
Pur fails with the takedown.
Pur shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pur 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Pur tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily
and Smith counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pur 's knee momentarily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kip Pur . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pur shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A nice combination there by Smith.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pur takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
An inside leg kick lands from Smith.

Pur drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Smith has his foot on Pur 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pur works his way back into a safe position though.

Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Smith is tightening it up a little... Pur has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pur reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pur taps out! Nice BJJ there by Smith!
