Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fabian Cameron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Teddy Roosevelt!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosevelt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cameron.
Cameron just misses with a punch to the body.
Cameron swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Roosevelt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cameron sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Roosevelt misses with a body shot.
Roosevelt throws out a loose jab but Cameron uses good head movement to avoid it.

Cameron gets a double leg takedown into Roosevelt's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cameron accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cameron postures up in Roosevelt's guard and throws a big left but Roosevelt blocks it.
Cameron advances position into side control!
The ground and pound from Cameron seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Cameron tries to score with some ground and pound. Roosevelt controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cameron tries to advance to mount but can't.
Cameron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cameron creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Cameron passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Roosevelt!
Cameron throws some wild stikes that Roosevelt manages to avoid easily.
Cameron throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Cameron lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


It looks like Teddy Roosevelt has been cut.
A nice elbow there by Cameron.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cameron has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Roosevelt is forced to tap!

After winning the bout, Fabian Cameron thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
