Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Robertson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kook Killa!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killa throws a lazy head kick
and Robertson counters with a straight right hand.
Robertson connects with a nice looking jab.

Robertson moves into range and clinches up with Killa.
Robertson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Robertson lands a body punch.
Robertson works on Killa's body with a couple of short punches.

Killa prevents a body shot from Robertson.
Robertson lands with a short shot to the head.

Robertson can't find room to land a body shot as Killa controls the action.

Robertson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Killa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Robertson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Robertson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Killa has his foot on Robertson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robertson works his way back into a safe position though.

Kook Killa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killa tried to score with a low kick but Robertson checks it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Robertson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
