PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Epinephrine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Superior Heavyweight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Henry Epinephrine has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Henry Epinephrine seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epinephrine takes a swing at Heavyweight's ribcage but misses.
Heavyweight swats away the attempt to clinch by Epinephrine.

Heavyweight's jab looks to have found its range, popping Epinephrine under the eye.
Epinephrine takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Heavyweight should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The fight stays on the outside here - Epinephrine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Epinephrine tries to clinch up but Heavyweight circles away and keeps his distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Epinephrine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Heavyweight can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Epinephrine is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Epinephrine manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Heavyweight manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

It looks like Superior Heavyweight has been cut.
Heavyweight wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Epinephrine tries to clinch but Heavyweight moves out of range.
Epinephrine swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Epinephrine feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Epinephrine drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Epinephrine jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
