Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Scaum!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scaum takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Scaum shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cullen as he avoids it easily.
Scaum misses with a head kick.
Cullen stuffs the takedown.

Scaum takes the fight into the clinch.
Cullen stops a takedown attempt from Scaum.
Richard Cullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Scaum.
Scaum takes an elbow to the temple.
Cullen lands an elbow that stopped Scaum in his tracks for a moment.
Scaum is looking for a takedown.
Scaum is pushing Cullen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Scaum jumps guard and drags Cullen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Scaum avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cullen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Cullen is looking to work some ground and pound but Scaum has wrist control.
Cullen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Scaum has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Cullen has passed into side control.
Scaum defending against the ground and pound.
Cullen working the strikes but Scaum uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Cullen landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scaum is trying to get back to full guard.
Scaum tries to kick Cullen off but Cullen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Scaum keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Cullen wants to pass to mount but Scaum is defending the position.
Cullen is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Scaum wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cullen.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cullen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Scaum hang on?
Cullen scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Cullen postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Scaum out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Cullen goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
