Castle comes to the cage accompanied by Demon Hunter - Storm The Gates Of Hell. Kevin Walters will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Walters!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle slips a jab from Walters.
Walters takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Walters misses with an uppercut. Castle saw that one coming.
Castle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Castle there as he acknowledges the shot.


It looks like Eric Castle has been cut.
Castle slips under a jab.
Castle misses with a double jab.
Walters misses with an uppercut. Castle saw that one coming.
Castle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walters misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Walters thows a left - swing and a miss!
Walters takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Walters moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Castle pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Walters back to the cage. Castle follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Castle moves out of range as Walters strikes.
Castle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Walters is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Castle.
Walters lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Castle circles away quickly and effectively.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walters throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Walters misses with a wild combination.
Walters missing with a left hand there. Castle was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Castle misses with an attempted mid kick.
Walters misses with a two punch combination.
Walters fails to land with a series of punches.
Castle misses with a few strikes there.
Castle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Walters circles away quickly and effectively.

Castle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Walters!
Walters is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Castle raining down shots from the mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Castle working the ground and pound effectively.

Castle swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Eric Castle!
Eric Castle spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
