Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Neilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syndey Nevil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neilson comes into the arena with Who Run This- 50 cent blaring out of the sound system. Nevil is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Silent Coming. Nevil has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Syndey Nevil is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neilson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nevil showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Neilson.
Nevil has a takedown stuffed.
Neilson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nevil on the side of the head.

Neilson moves into the clinch.

Neilson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nevil takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Nevil has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Neilson finds it's way round the side to connect with Nevil's head.
Neilson lands a nice shot to the body.
Neilson stalks Nevil and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nevil's face. Nevil staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Neilson throws a right hand that Nevil ducks under and follows up with a left that Nevil also avoids with ease.

Nevil closes the distance and clinches up with Neilson, looking for a takedown. Nevil pushes Neilson against the cage but Neilson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Neilson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Neilson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Neilson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Neilson throws a nice looking combination but Nevil bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nevil moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Nevil looks to land a body kick but Neilson moved away.

Neilson closes the distance and clinches.

Neilson tightens his grip and picks Nevil up, before dumping him to the ground. Nevil manages to land in guard.

Neilson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nevil on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Neilson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Neilson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

letting Neilson counter with a right hand.

Nevil jumps guard but Neilson stands there with Nevil around his waist. Nevil gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Neilson knocks Nevil out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
