With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Beecher Meetz!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meetz fails to land the takedown.
Martin misses with a combination

and Meetz counters by clinching up.
Martin is looking to control Meetz's arms but Meetz gets an underhook and turns him. Now Martin has his back to the cage.

Meetz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Meetz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Meetz moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Martin has worked his arm free - good work by Martin!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Meetz grinds an elbow into Martin's temple.
Meetz lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Martin down.

Meetz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hank Martin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
