Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Durak.
Barletta has taken the fight to the clinch.
Barletta wants to take the fight to the mat but Durak manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Durak jumps into guard, dragging Barletta to the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Durak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Durak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Barletta doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Durak.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Durak stuffs the takedown attempt from Barletta. Barletta gets slowly back to his feet.
Durak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Barletta manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barletta fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Durak to the ground. Barletta is now in Durak's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabe Barletta will probably get the nod.

Barletta looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Durak is fending him off so far but Barletta persists. Nope, Durak circles away and we're back to standing.

Barletta shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Barletta was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
BOOM! Barletta connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Durak takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Barletta's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
