The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A punch lands to the side of Lapland 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Senko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lapland has time to react.
Aigars Senko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Senko thows a body shot but no joy.
Senko scores with a jab to the head.
Lapland gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Senko.
Senko swings for the body but Lapland moves out of range.
Senko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lapland moves away.
Lapland dives in and grabs Senko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Senko pushes down on Lapland's head and hops out.

Senko connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lapland momentarily.

Lapland's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Senko connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lapland scrambles back to his feet.

Senko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Senko takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Senko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lapland doesn't seem bothered though.

Senko closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Lapland! Senko dives in looking to finish! Lapland is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
