Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Klass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Auu Rite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Klass might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Katy Perry - Teenage Dream. Auu Rite is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Auu Rite!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rite scores with the left hand. Klass knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Matt Klass has been cut.
Klass misses with a straight left.
Rite connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Klass momentarily.
Rite closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rite pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Klass avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Klass throws a shot from downtown. Rite moves away and avoids it.
Rite sends Klass crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rite is motioning to the referee to let Klass up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Klass is rocked!
Klass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Klass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Klass misses with a few strikes there.
Klass seems to have got his legs back now.
Rite dodges the punch combination from Klass.
Klass fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Klass getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Rite throws the left hand but Klass avoids the punch easily.
Rite sends Klass crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rite is motioning to the referee to let Klass up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Matt Klass's cut is getting worse.

Klass displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Auu Rite has been cut.
Klass throws a poor cross that misses
and Rite counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rite throws a lazy right hand but Klass sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fighters circling - Klass throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Klass has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rite.
Rite cracks Klass with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Klass looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rite finish him?
Matt Klass's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rite looks to throw the jab but Klass is out of range.
Rite closes the distance and clinches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Klass.
Rite blocks an uppercut.
Rite pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Klass displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rite throws out the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rite thuds his shin into the meat of Klass's side.
Rite thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Klass if he has to take too many more of those.
Rite dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Klass. That did some damage!
Klass is breathing heavily.
Rite has managed to clinch.
Rite blocks an uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
A short body shot lands from Rite as the two fighters clinch.
Klass doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rite manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Klass just misses with a punch to the body.
Rite takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rite defending well as Klass loads up on a big left hand.
Rite will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rite fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rite has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rite there as he acknowledges the shot.
Some wild striking there from Klass.
Rite throws a lazy right hand but Klass sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Klass takes one to the chin there.
Klass on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rite connects with a leg kick. Klass looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Klass slips under a jab from Rite.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A big left from Klass misses.
A swing and a miss from Rite.
Klass misses with a hook. Rite ducked under it nicely.
Klass misses with the combination.
Rite lands a leg kick that knocks Klass off balance momentarily.
Rite lands a left and a right that send Klass crashing to the mat, dazed. Rite thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Matt Klass's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Auu Rite!
