The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Ignatiev counters with a nice low kick that buckles Guerero's knee momentarily.

and Ignatiev counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Ignatiev stuffs the takedown attempt from Guerero. Guerero gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Guerero. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Guerero jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ignatiev walks away with a smile on his face. Guerero gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Guerero steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ignatiev. That one must have hurt.
Ignatiev throws a leg kick which misses Guerero's front leg but catches the back leg as Guerero tries to avoid it.
Ignatiev jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ignatiev and Guerero are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Ignatiev throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Guerero into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Ignatiev knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
