And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Breashers!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breashers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Blanket forces Breashers back against the cage and clinches.
Breashers is trying to force a seperation but Blanket has the dominant position.
Blanket is looking to break free of the clinch but Breashers has double underhooks.
Blanket is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Breashers is defending well.
Blanket is working for takedown but Breashers is calmly controlling the position for now.
Blanket jumps guard but Breashers stands there with Blanket around his waist. Blanket gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randy Blanket. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blanket has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Breashers after a bit of a struggle.
Blanket has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Breashers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Breashers tries to circle away but Blanket has him pinned against the cage.
Blanket jumps guard but Breashers stands there with Blanket around his waist. Blanket gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Breashers's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Blanket manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Blanket looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Breashers is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Blanket jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Breashers manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blanket taking a breather here.
Blanket looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Breashers is avoiding damage well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Breashers wants to control but Blanket postures up.
Blanket throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Blanket trying to control the position but Breashers is working away.

Blanket is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Breashers has escaped the position, nice work there.
Blanket has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Blanket trying to control the action but Breashers is working from the bottom.
Breashers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blanket. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blanket is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Breashers looks calm but he's in trouble here. Blanket gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Breashers is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Blanket lets go of the hold and Breashers can pop his arm back in it's socket.
