Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Murpy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murpy comes to the cage accompanied by Victory. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Ace!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murpy keeps the fight on the outside.
Murpy lands with an uppercut that bounces Ace off the cage and back into rage.

Ace looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Murpy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Murpy.

Murpy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Murpy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Murpy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ace's guard.
Murpy lands a couple of digs.

Murpy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Murpy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ace working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Murpy.
Ace wants to sweep but no luck.
Murpy passes Ace's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Murpy is tying to control. Ace wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ace gets full guard.
Murpy passes into half guard.
Ace is not content to let Murpy control the position.

Murpy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Ace makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ace.

Ace manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Murpy manages to get himself to full guard.
Ace working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Murpy's head.

Murpy is looking for a triangle but Ace pushes his legs off easily.

Murpy gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Ace is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murpy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murpy is on top in guard.

Ace tries to clinch but Murpy is having none of it.

Murpy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Ace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Murpy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Murpy scores with the left hand. Ace knows he should have avoided that one.
Ace is still on wobbly legs! Can Murpy finish him?
Ace moves forwards but Murpy connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Murpy drops Ace with a huge uppercut! Ace drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Murpy is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
