Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Lunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Star Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Lunder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Star Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lunder slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Fighter gets caught napping as Lunder dives in and scores a takedown. Fighter manages to retain guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lunder landing with the ground and pound.
Lunder postures up.

Fighter is working an open guard so Lunder takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lunder throws a head kick but Fighter moves out of range.
Fighter shoots in for a double leg but Lunder sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jack Lunder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Star Fighter.

Lunder shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fighter is trying to defend but Lunder finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lunder wants to advance to full mount but Fighter doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Fighter is working an open guard so Lunder takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Fighter has Lunder up against the cage in a clinch.
Lunder lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Lunder has Fighter pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lunder pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fighter tumbling to the mat - Lunder dives into Fighter's guard.

Fighter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lunder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fighter looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lunder decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fighter, up you get!
Lunder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lunder wants it to stay on the feet.
Jack Lunder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lunder fails with a takedown attempt.

Lunder shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fighter's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lunder drops back looking for a leg! Fighter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fighter manages to kick Lunder off! Lunder jumps back into Fighter's guard.

Lunder scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lunder is one step ahead there.

Lunder stands up from Fighter's guard - Lunder perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lunder shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lunder was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lunder jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fighter manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Fighter can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Lunder dominated that round.
That's time! Lunder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Lunder throws a head kick that misses.
Fighter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lunder closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter circles away.
Lunder displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fighter.
Horrible takedown by Lunder or perhaps it was just good defense by Fighter which made him look bad.
Lunder shoots in for a takedown but Fighter shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Lunder. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lunder feints and as Fighter raises his hands in defense, Lunder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jack Lunder overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lunder throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Fighter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lunder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fighter looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fighter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Lunder working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fighter's head.
Lunder preventing the sweep.
Lunder is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fighter is looking for a triangle here but Lunder uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Lunder decides to stand back up.
Lunder stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.

Fighter forces Lunder back against the cage and clinches.
Lunder lands a hook that snaps the head of Fighter backwards.

Lunder turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lunder manages to end up in side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lunder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fighter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Lunder lands an elbow.

Lunder is trying to get an arm triangle but Fighter is defending well.

Lunder decides to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lunder gets a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter tries to get to full guard but Lunder has control of the leg.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lunder escapes and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Lunder dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Lunder scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lunder is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter can do to turn this around?
Fighter is trying to get back to full guard.
Lunder stops Fighter from getting back to his feet.

Lunder is working for a kimura but Fighter is defending it quite comfortably.
Fighter is looking for a sweep. Lunder is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fighter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Fighter wants to control but Lunder is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fighter is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lunder scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lunder is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fighter is just riding it out for now. Lunder eventually gives up the hold.

Lunder postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fighter to stand up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lunder shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Lunder gets to his feet - Fighter follows without any prompting.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lunder bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Lunder tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lunder has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Lunder working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fighter wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Lunder seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Fighter is tapping! Wow, great finish!
