Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiko Lynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt comes into the arena with Why Do Good Girls Like Bad Guys? blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Keiko Lynn enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynn throws a lazy uppercut
and Hunt counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hunt.
Hunt is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Lynn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hunt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lynn swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hunt dives in and grabs Lynn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lynn pushes down on Hunt's head and hops out.
Lynn throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt.
Hunt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lynn on the side of the head.
Hunt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Hunt.
I think Hunt has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
