Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Chucky Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shingo Takeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahn comes to the ring accompanied by Remember my name. Takeda has chosen TAKEDA as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shingo Takeda!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Takeda's sensitive parts.
Kahn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Takeda has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Takeda tries a head kick but it misses.
Kahn throws a looping overhand right but Takeda ducks down to avoid it.
Takeda throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kahn makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kahn misses with a low kick.
Kahn throws a head kick that misses.
Kahn takes a swing at Takeda's ribcage but misses.
Kahn tries a low kick but Takeda avoids it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kahn.
Chucky Kahn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kahn.
Kahn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takeda was well out of range. Poor timing from Kahn.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takeda throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Takeda counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Kahn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Takeda drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Takeda ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kahn moves away.
Kahn throws a head kick that half lands.

and Takeda counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Takeda delivers a nice body kick.
Takeda lands a two punch combo.

Kahn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Takeda scores with a spinning back kick!
Kahn looks to land a body kick but Takeda moved away.
Kahn ducks under a wild hook from Takeda.
Kahn throws a body kick that misses.
Takeda wants to clinch.
Takeda turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Takeda misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kahn throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Takeda's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kahn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Takeda scrambles back to his feet.
Takeda lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kahn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Takeda.
Takeda throws a body punch but Kahn moves out of range.
Takeda tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kahn misses with a low kick.
Kahn lands a lovely overhand right.
Kahn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Takeda.

Kahn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kahn jabs Takeda to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Takeda throws a leg kick but Kahn checks it.
Takeda on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kahn connects with a body shot.
Kahn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Takeda throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kahn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A nice inside leg kick there by Takeda. That's going to slow Kahn down.
Nice defenses there by Kahn.
Good shot there by Kahn.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kahn. Takeda shrugs it off though.
Chucky Kahn is winning the standup battle so far.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kahn.

No joy there for Takeda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Takeda misses with a left hand
and Kahn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kahn is looking to wear down Takeda with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kahn - that will leave a mark!
Takeda is breathing heavily.
Kahn looks low and kicks high, catching Takeda right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
It looks like Shingo Takeda has been cut.
Kahn avoids the head kick by Takeda.
Kahn moves out of range as Takeda strikes.
Kahn works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kahn buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kahn lands with a kick to the temple. Takeda shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Takeda blocks a head kick by Kahn.
Kahn looks to land a body kick but Takeda moved away.
Takeda needs to keep his hands up - Kahn had a free shot at his head there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chucky Kahn will take that round after scoring the only knockdown of the round.
The cut man is working on Shingo Takeda's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kahn closes the distance and catches Takeda with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Takeda is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Takeda is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Takeda is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Kahn takes it!

Our winner, Chucky Kahn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
