Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li tries to clinch up but Silva circles away and keeps his distance.
Li fails with an attempt to clinch.
Li wants to clinch.
Li tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Li shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Li tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.

Silva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Li manages to work his way to half guard, despite Silva's best efforts.

Silva is working for a kimura but Li is defending it quite comfortably.
Silva frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Silva tries to push Li's head away but Li is holding on tight.

Silva is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Li is in real trouble.

Silva is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Li has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Li is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Li darts in and clinches Silva up against the cage.
Li connects with a knee to the head.
Li gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Li lands a nice elbow.
Li gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.
Silva takes an elbow to the forehead.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Li unloads a knee to the mid-section. Silva lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Li comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Silva goes for a takedown attempt but Li pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Silva closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Li to the mat! Li manages to get full guard.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Li swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Li tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Li looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Li wants to get back to full guard.
Silva uses his free foot to push down on Li's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Li.
Li is trying to escape the mount but Silva keeps good control and instead manages to take Li's back.

Silva is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Li taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Silva.
