The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moukako scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moukako moves away.
A punch combination from Williams misses.
Moukako shoots in but no luck this time.

Moukako fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but Moukako persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Moukako tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Williams.
Moukako tries to pass to full mount but Williams defends it.

Moukako looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Moukako is trying to control the action in half guard but Williams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Moukako is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Moukako eventually gives up the hold.

Williams wants to improve his position but Moukako is controlling well.
Williams pushes Moukako off looking to stand but Moukako dives back in and keeps control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Moukako counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Williams tries to clinch there but Moukako circles away.
Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moukako pinned against the cage. Moukako gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams shoots in but Moukako avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Donk. Williams catches Moukako right on the button with a cross.
Williams misses with a double jab.

Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moukako swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moukako looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Williams has picked Moukako up and slammed him! Moukako can't keep hold of the triangle and Williams manages to pass to side control!

Williams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Moukako cranks the arm and Williams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Williams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
