Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chad Carlson Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Speer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlson Jr comes into the arena with yesterdays headlines blaring out of the sound system. Speer has chosen Prayer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Chad Carlson Jr has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlson Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Carlson Jr decides to stand back up. Carlson Jr steps back and let's Speer get back to his feet.

Speer is rocked!
Carlson Jr wants to pass the guard but Speer is keeping the position.
Carlson Jr throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Speer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Carlson Jr makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Carlson Jr postures up in Speer's guard and throws a big left but Speer blocks it.
Carlson Jr distracts Speer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Speer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Speer looks gassed!

Carlson Jr sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Speer's guard.

Carlson Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Speer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carlson Jr.
Carlson Jr takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Carlson Jr works his way into full mount!

Carlson Jr with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Tom Speer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Speer looks to land a combination but Carlson Jr avoids it well.
Carlson Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Carlson Jr swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Speer is now in Carlson Jr's guard. A big mistake from Carlson Jr there, giving up the dominant position!

Carlson Jr has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Speer doesn't defend quickly enough and Carlson Jr has managed to lock this one up! Can Speer escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Carlson Jr on a fantastic submission victory.
