With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Meeoff!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Country!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meeoff clinches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Country stalling the fight.
Country has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Meeoff avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Meeoff gets control of Country's arms and successfully pulls guard. Meeoff will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Meeoff is looking for a triangle but Country pushes his legs off easily.
Country trying to control the position from guard on top but Meeoff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Country engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Meeoff defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Country.
Country thows a body shot but no joy.
Meeoff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Country as he avoids it easily.
Country checks a leg kick nicely.
Country is looking to clinch.
Meeoff looks to land a combination but Country avoids it well.
Meeoff lands a head kick. Country smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Meeoff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Meeoff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Meeoff decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Meeoff will probably get the nod.

Country bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jack Meeoff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Meeoff shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Meeoff was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Meeoff manages to capitalize on a mistake by Country to take his back!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Country accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
