Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrangle shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Wrangle. No joy for Banner on that attempt.

and Banner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Banner.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Banner won't allow Wrangle to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wrangle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Wrangle will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Banner slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Wrangle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Banner wants to stand but Wrangle has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Banner thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Banner wants to stand but Wrangle is controlling his posture from full guard.

Banner throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Wrangle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Banner's guard.
Banner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wrangle is controlling him.

Banner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wrangle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wrangle pushing down on Banner's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Wrangle working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wrangle has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Banner is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Wrangle has taken his back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wrangle is working for a rear naked choke. Banner is not defending it well and Wrangle has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Banner refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Banner's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
