Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ville Kuukkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuukkeli comes to the cage accompanied by a-ha - Take On Me. Chase is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bobcaygeon. Johnny Chase has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ville Kuukkeli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Chase!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukkeli throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chase's waist but Chase gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kuukkeli off to one side.
Chase takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Chase is looking to slow Kuukkeli down with leg kicks.
Kuukkeli uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chase.
Kuukkeli misses with a double jab.
Chase shoots in for a takedown but Kuukkeli shows good takedown defense.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kuukkeli.
Chase turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Chase tries a head kick but it misses.
Kuukkeli works the jab nicely.

Kuukkeli shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chase sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kuukkeli is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kuukkeli is looking to regain half guard here but Chase keeps moving and retains side control.

Kuukkeli is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kuukkeli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chase can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kuukkeli controls the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Ville Kuukkeli will probably get the nod.

Chase fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kuukkeli manages to avoid it.

Kuukkeli closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chase did well to prevent Kuukkeli getting side control.

Kuukkeli is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Chase takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kuukkeli cracks Chase with a big right hand but Chase just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kuukkeli postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Chase is not content to let Kuukkeli control the position.
Chase managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kuukkeli.

Kuukkeli creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Chase sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kuukkeli misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Kuukkeli looks up at the clock and then as Chase takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kuukkeli smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Kuukkeli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kuukkeli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kuukkeli lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kuukkeli working over Chase with some ground and pound. Chase looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chase is staying active underneath Kuukkeli, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kuukkeli drops back looking for a leg! Chase is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chase manages to kick Kuukkeli off! Kuukkeli jumps back into Chase's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Chase scores with a hook to the body. Kuukkeli takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BOOM! Chase lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kuukkeli. Kuukkeli tries to recover but Chase is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kuukkeli lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

After winning the bout, Johnny Chase thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
