PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jones might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hate not Gone. Head has chosen Walk as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a push kick but Head slaps the foot to one side.
Jones looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Head scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.

Head throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Head finishes the takedown easily into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Head missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Head connects with a couple of short punches.
Head lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Head stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Head on the ground.
Head content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Jones is rocked!
Head slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Head distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Head loads up on a big left hand. Jones felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Head looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Jones can't hide his disappointment, as Head celebrates the victory.
