Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frederic Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laurent comes to the cage accompanied by Tropa de Elite. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frederic Laurent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mickey Mouse!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouse gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laurent has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mouse is working away from the top position though.
Mouse sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Laurent defending well though.
Mouse thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Mouse looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mouse misses with a head shot. Laurent uses the momentum to regain guard.
Mouse is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Laurent is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Laurent has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Laurent wants to control from the top but Mouse keeps moving.
Mouse is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mouse has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Laurent off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Mouse tries to score a power double leg takedown but Laurent sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mouse somewhat.
Mouse on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Laurent defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mouse.
Laurent lands with a kick to the temple. Mouse shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Mickey Mouse has been cut.
Mouse misses with a body shot.
Laurent bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mouse scores with a nice right hand.
Mouse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Frederic Laurent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Mouse.
Mouse gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Laurent connects with a looping right hand.
Laurent slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That has opened up Mickey Mouse's cut even more.
Mouse scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Mouse shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mouse.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mouse looks for a takedown but Laurent sprawls well.
Mouse looks gassed!
Laurent drops Mouse with a beautiful combination! Mouse stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Laurent is looking for the KO!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mouse takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The cut above Mickey Mouse's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mouse misses with a body shot.
Laurent lands a big head kick that sends Mouse tumbling to the mat! Laurent takes a step backwards and waves Mouse back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mouse is rocked!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Laurent, as that shot connected.
Mouse is still on wobbly legs! Can Laurent finish him?
Mouse throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Laurent counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Mouse out cold! What a finish! Laurent is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frederic Laurent!
A very excited looking Frederic Laurent made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
