I think Laurent might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tropa de Elite. Samuel Dance has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laurent uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dance.
Dance tries to bum rush Laurent with a series of wild strikes but Laurent uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Laurent connects with an inside leg kick.
That kick from Laurent tenderised Dance's leg. Dance is trying to keep his angry face on.
Laurent throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dance connects with a looping right hand.
Dance misses with a wild body shot.
A thudding body kick lands there by Laurent!
Dance throws a shot from downtown. Laurent moves away and avoids it.
Dance throws a right and a left that Laurent avoids nicely.
Laurent misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dance.

Laurent moves into the clinch successfully.

Dance is looking to break free of the clinch but Laurent has double underhooks.

Laurent throws a leg kick but Dance sees it coming and moves out of range.

Dance lunges at Laurent with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Laurent's hand.

Laurent darts in and clinches Dance up against the cage.

Laurent tries a knee to the head but Dance blocks it.
Dance wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Laurent has him pressed against the cage.

Dance breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dance on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Dance throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laurent keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dance.
Dance pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Laurent moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Dance looks gassed!
Laurent buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dance on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Laurent lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dance's sensitive parts.

Dance thows a body shot but no joy.
Laurent ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Laurent feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dance's calf.
Laurent dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Laurent lands a big head kick that sends Dance tumbling to the mat! Laurent takes a step backwards and waves Dance back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dance is rocked!

It looks like Samuel Dance has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Laurent, right into the meat.
Dance is still on wobbly legs! Can Laurent finish him?
Laurent tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dance paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dance seems to have recovered his senses.
Laurent plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Dance to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Dance just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
