Duncan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Haka . Rios has chosen Painkiller - Judas Priest as his entrance music. Tom Duncan has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan moves out of range as Rios throws a body kick.
Duncan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Duncan tries to close the distance and clinch but Rios swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Duncan tries to clinch there but Rios circles away.
Rios with a nice cross.
Rios throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duncan.
Duncan thuds his shin into the meat of Rios's side.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rios slips a jab and a cross from Duncan.
Duncan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rios misses with a wild body shot.
Duncan lands a really nice looking cross but Rios seems unphased.

It looks like Alex Rios has been cut.

Duncan cracks Rios with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Rios cracks a nice hook into Duncan's ribs.

A jab lands there for Duncan.

That has opened up Alex Rios's cut even more.
Duncan keeps Rios at a distance using the push kick.

Duncan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Duncan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rios paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Duncan darts in and clinches Rios up against the cage.
Rios tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Rios is fighting off a takedown attempt but Duncan is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rios to the mat. Rios regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Duncan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rios keeping moving, preventing Duncan from controlling successfully.
Duncan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rios is keeping the position for now.
Rios is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Duncan is controlling him.
Duncan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Duncan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rios wants to stand and escape but Duncan is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tom Duncan.
Duncan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Duncan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rios in his tracks.

The cut above Alex Rios's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Rios gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Duncan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Duncan has Rios up against the cage in a clinch.

Duncan comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Alex Rios's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
