The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barton clinches up with Thai and pushes him back against the cage.
Thai is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Barton goes for a takedown attempt but Thai pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Barton takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Barton has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barton there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barton moves to clinch but Thai breaks away
and Thai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Thai pushes Barton up against the cage in a clinch.
Thai is trying to push Barton away but Barton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Still in the clinch, Thai scores with a nice short uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Barton creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Barton throws a hook to the side of Thai's head but Thai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Thai looks to land a combination but Barton avoids it well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Thai. Barton does a little dance to reset his feet.

Thai throws a lazy right hand but Barton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thai throws an overhand right that lands on Barton's shoulder, as Barton tries to avoid the shot.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Thai's elbow.
Barton misses with a punch on the inside.

Barton throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Thai works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Barton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Thai is defending against the submission attempts here by Barton.

Barton breaks from Thai's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The referee warns Thai that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Mui Thai's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barton lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Thai is rocked!

Jeez, Mui Thai's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mui Thai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jack Barton!
A very excited looking Jack Barton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
