Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Homer Simpson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier shoots in for a takedown but Simpson shows good takedown defense.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Xavier.
Aidan Xavier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xavier throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Simpson's waist but Simpson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Xavier off to one side.
Homer Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aidan Xavier.

and Simpson counters with a right hand to the body.
Xavier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Simpson swivels and escapes.
Xavier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Simpson tries to avoid it but Xavier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Simpson to the ground. Simpson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Simpson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Xavier has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Xavier shoots in looking for a takedown but Simpson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Xavier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Simpson counters with a nice right hand that sends Xavier toppling to the canvas! Xavier scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Simpson finish him?!
Simpson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Xavier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Simpson pinned against the cage. Simpson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Xavier gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
