Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigmar Magnusson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnusson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go Go Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult. Grace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Doggystyle - Snoop Dogg kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sigmar Magnusson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Grace!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grace moves out of range of the leg kick from Magnusson.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Magnusson cracks a nice hook into Grace's ribs.
Magnusson tries for a takedown but Grace sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Grace swings for the body but Magnusson moves out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Grace!
Magnusson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Grace gets caught flat footed, as Magnusson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Magnusson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Magnusson wants to control from the top but Grace keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sigmar Magnusson wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Magnusson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grace's guard.
Grace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magnusson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Magnusson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Grace manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Magnusson has Grace in his guard.

Grace avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Magnusson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Grace defends it easily.
Grace lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Grace's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Grace slips nicely into half guard.
Grace is nestled in close to Magnusson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Grace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Magnusson sees it coming and defends easily.

Grace wants to pass to mount but Magnusson is defending the position.
Grace is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Magnusson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Grace pulls his head out easily.

Magnusson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Grace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Grace gets to his feet and stands over Magnusson, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Magnusson felt that one! Grace unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Magnusson from any more punishment!
