Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislaw Dziuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera comes to the cage accompanied by Bebot. Stanislaw Dziuk will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dziuk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dziuk throws a series of punches but Vera moves out of range.
Vera wants to clinch up but Dziuk keeps it at a distance.
Vera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Brandon Vera has been cut.

Some wild striking there from Dziuk.
Vera walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dziuk throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dziuk rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vera moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Horrible takedown by Vera or perhaps it was just good defense by Dziuk which made him look bad.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Stanislaw Dziuk hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Vera avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vera tries to clinch up but Dziuk circles away and keeps his distance.
