The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joon clinches up against the cage.
Joon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Joon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Joon breaks the clinch.
Fain walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Joon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Joon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Joon prevents Fain from improving his position.
Joon winds up and cracks Fain with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Joon thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Joon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joon uses his free foot to push down on Fain's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fain.

Fain manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Joon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fain frees his head nicely. Oh but Joon has switched to an armbar! Fain is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
