Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne circles away from the clinch attempt
and Wayne counters with a left and a right that stings Porterfield.
Porterfield tries to close the distance and clinch but Wayne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Porterfield tests Wayne's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wayne fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Porterfield.
Porterfield bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Porterfield closes the distance and clinches.

It looks like John Wayne has been cut.

and Wayne counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wayne throws a front kick aimed at Porterfield's knee but Porterfield avoids it well.
Wayne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Porterfield tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wayne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wayne feints and then cracks Porterfield's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Porterfield down.

Oh Porterfield is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice defenses there by Porterfield.
Wayne circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Porterfield to the canvas! Porterfield doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Wayne keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
