Desjardins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bob Marley - I Shot The Sheriff. Sanchez has chosen Written in the stars as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desjardins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sanchez is able to avoid easily.

Desjardins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sanchez manages to avoid it.
Desjardins slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
